Blackpool Fulfilling Lives has been featured in Blackpool Council’s new five-year strategy for 2015-2020.
The inclusion marks an important recognition of the work that Fulfilling Lives has been doing to improve the lives of local people with complex multiple needs.
The strategy report reads: “For those with multiple and complex needs arising from social issues, programmes like the Fulfilling Lives project led by Addaction will lead the process of returning people to more stable lives. The key here is integration – making all of these parts of care work together in an effective and efficient way.”
The new plan highlights the council’s vision and priorities for the next five years, acknowledging that Blackpool has major social and health issues to deal with, and laying out a collaborative response that brings residents and organisations together.
