Volunteers are fundamental to the success of the BFL programme. We want people who are passionate about supporting the people we work with.

BFL offers volunteers opportunities for personal development including tailored training packages to improve skills and practical experience. Some of our current volunteers are undertaking Health and Social Care qualifications and have been trained in roles such as Navigators and Research Associates. Volunteers are also used to support our marketing and promotional work and help with our therapeutic activities such as the BFL allotment and art and craft groups.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer with Blackpool Fulfilling Lives please contact our Volunteer Coordinator by either telephoning: 01253 208821 / 07980702470 or emailing: Nicola.plumb@addaction.org.uk .

Empowerment, a local Blackpool charity, has been commissioned by Blackpool Fulfilling Lives to provide service user involvement for the service. This is to ensure that the service user voice is independent, creating a stronger platform to influence change. For more information on Empowerment visit their website: www.empowermentcharity.org.uk.
